Here are some ways the whole family can get the heavy dose of nature they need to live their best lives:

“All good things are wild and free.” -Henry David Thoreau.

I want to go to this retreat because it is a way for me to escape from my day to day reality. My schedule is crazy with dance, school, and different after school clubs. Going to the Rue Farm calms me down and keeps me centered. I feel at peace with myself and one with nature. Every morning when we meditate, I remember how simple life should be and how simple it is at that very moment. I love the smell of damp, cool air in the mornings as the smell of burning sage lingers throughout the farmhouse. As you know, we’re in the year of 2019 and it’s no secret that our environment is changing rapidly. Over the past 100 years, we’ve seen the American Chestnut Tree gradually diminish. We could potentially see this tree go extinct within our lifetime! (That is if we don’t do anything about it, of course).

In addition, the ability to survive in the woods is an essential life skill that...

A life of love, meaning and purpose, a path in balance, connection, community, support, and a sense of empowerment is essential for each one of us.

Happy Love Day Every Day, our Dear Community!

2015 was a very special year for Antinanco Earth Arts School. It was our first. It was busy, chaotic, spontaneous, filled with exciting ideas, magical visions and groundbreaking initiatives.  We welcomed our first Board in March, finalized the Bylaws in April and received our public charity status in October. We were overjoyed to open our hearts and doors to our teachers and community, offering more than 20 classes, workshops, educational

experiences, panels and free community events to children and families in eight short months.

While a lot of our work was centered around administrative, legal, organizational and housekeeping tasks, if I am to describe the...
