SACRED SKINS

SHEEPSKIN TANNING INITIATIVE

EarthSchool_Logo_Final.png

The creator of Earth School,  Santha Cooke, had a vision of saving sheepskins at local slaughterhouses and sending them to people freezing in the winter. Her vision (full story Here) is manifesting in a collaboration of Antinanco, PAZA, Tree of Life, Earth School and Alan Ritter (the Produce Club in Oaklyn, NJ) with traditional sheepskin tanners on Native American reservations. The tanned skins will provide a traditional source of warmth and security to those in need.
