VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

  • this list is updated periodically to reflect opportunities that are currently available.

  • if you are interested and meet the qualifications, please email to info@antinanco.org under Subject "VOLUNTEER"

  • please pay attention to deadlines (final day to respond).

  • opportunities are first come, first serve, but you can get on a waiting list and we will contact you if there are cancellations.

  • if you are volunteering for an event and a friend wants to join you, please let us know ahead of time to see if it is possible.

  • if you need a signed service form, bring it with you and the supervisor of that event will sign it for you.

  • unless specified otherwise, all opportunities are open to students and adults.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:

​

  • Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Land Day - Sat. Oct. 15th, 12pm-3pm

    • Adults (10-20pp). Support the Brooklyn Bridge Walk for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. Assist with guiding attendees, carrying banners, distributing food and water, and handing moving carts.  For more info about the event Click Here

  • Making Banners for the Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Land Day Event, any time until October 14th.​

    • Children and Adults (unlimited).  Making banners commemorating Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Water is Life, Children Who Vanished in Indian Boarding Schools​

  • Tree Care Volunteer Day at Graver Arboretum, Bath, PA. October 29th, 11am - 4pm.  

    • Children and Adults (up to 40pp).  We invite Volunteers, Students and Scout Groups to Join our Tree Maintenance Day. We planted 100+ of native food producing species at the arboretum last year (American chestnut, persimmons, elderberry, hazelnut) and we are looking for help to upgrade tree shelters and stakes.   • Social Media Volunteers â€‹

    • Teenagers and Adults (2 pp).  ​To creatively communicate the organization's message through social media channels to raise awareness about our mission and programs. 

    • Qualifications: Experience using key social media outlets. Good writing skills. Attention to detail. Ability to use online tools to engage community. Desire to support our mission.  â€‹
